When skip tracing helps

• A defendant or respondent has moved without leaving an address
• A witness is needed for court proceedings

How we approach it

We start with the information you already have: last known addresses, workplaces, vehicles, associates, social media and any recent contact. We then make enquiries and field attendances to test each lead. We stay within the law and within privacy requirements at all times.

Privacy rules make locating people harder than they used to be, which is why a methodical approach and good records matter. The aim is a current address or contact point that can actually be used for service.

Results you can use

You get a written report of what was done and what was found. If the person is located, we can go on to serve the documents. If they cannot be found, the report sets out the steps taken, which is exactly the evidence a court will want to see before it considers another way of serving.
